5 Prides You Can Still Get to This Year

The Atlanta Pride parade
Summer may be over, but Pride never ends! If you missed Austin or Manchester Pride this past weekend, worry not. While most cities celebrate their LGBTQ+ festivals during June, these five destinations know how to throw a proper fall Pride party.
1. Asheville, North Carolina
One of our favorite cities in the American South, Asheville, North Carolina, plays host to the annual Blue Ridge Pride Festival, this year on Saturday, September 27. The festival transforms Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville into a rainbow-filled celebration, with a welcoming procession through the city's vibrant arts district.
Known as one of the most LGBTQ+-friendly cities in the South, Asheville's Pride perfectly captures the town's laid-back mountain vibe while celebrating the community that's helped make this city a queer haven. The Highland Brewing Company, one of the area's LGBTQ+-friendly businesses, often hosts special Pride events throughout the weekend.
2. Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas Pride brings the neon and the nightlife together for National Coming Out Day Weekend. The festivities kick off Friday, October 10th with a one-of-a-kind nighttime Pride parade starting at 7 PM—so bring those glow sticks!
The celebration continues Vegas-style with an outdoor rave on Saturday featuring headlining DJs like Shea Coulee, and wraps up with an all-ages festival on Sunday, October 18th. The action centers around downtown Las Vegas, with the iconic Fremont Street Experience serving as the backdrop for this glittering celebration.
3. Atlanta, Georgia
Atlanta Pride holds the crown as the largest LGBTQ+ event in the South, and this year's festival runs October 11-12 in the heart of Midtown's Piedmont Park.
Sunday's massive Pride parade winds through the gayborhood before ending at the festival grounds, where you'll catch top-tier entertainment (previous years have featured Ava Max and Monét X Change)
The weekend culminates with Starlight Cabaret, billed as the largest outdoor drag show in the country. Between events, the legendary Blake's on the Park keeps the party going with drag shows and dancing just steps from the festival grounds.
4. Phoenix, Arizona
With desert temperatures finally cooling down, there's no better time to celebrate at Phoenix Pride in Steele Indian School Park, October 18-19.
Over 55,000 people descend on the Grand Canyon State's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration, which features a Sunday morning parade, food trucks, vendor booths, and separate kids' and adults' zones.
This year's headline entertainment includes powerhouses like Big Freedia and Todrick Hall. The festivities center around Central Phoenix, with the nearby Kobalt Bar serving as a popular pre- and post-Pride gathering spot for the community.
5. Palm Springs, California
Palm Springs Pride knows how to close out Pride season right with their five-day desert celebration, November 6-9. It’s one of the year's latest and longest Pride festivals, featuring four days of street fairs and music festivals leading up to a nearly two-hour-long parade on Sunday morning.
The palm-lined party takes over downtown Palm Springs, with the city's famous gay resort scene providing the perfect backdrop for extended celebrations. Between official events, legendary venues like Toucan's Tiki Lounge keep the festivities going around the clock.
