This New Gay Cruise is Reinventing "Cruising"

I feel the RU5H

If you’ve ever been to the Eagle and thought—man, I’d really like to vacation here—then we’ve got good news for you.

A bold new travel brand called RU5H is launching "unapologetically sex-progressive" cruises (you know, actual cruises on boats) and getaways designed specifically for gay and bi men looking to explore their kinkier side.

The group plans to announce their very first cruise in mid-December, and until then are being very tight-lipped about the details.

The did, however, make their debut at San Fransisco’s legendary Folsom Street Fair in late September (naturally) with their own “play” tent. Out Magazine’s editor-in-chief reported the RU5H tent was a “notable cruisey hotspot at the fair; when this reporter stopped by, men in pup masks were prominently having sex in slings while a penis-and-scrotum disco ball rotated overhead.”

That seems to live up to the company’s promise of delivering what they call "darkly decadent parties" and "round-the-clock fetish-fueled experiences" through three- and four-night full-ship cruises, resort takeovers, and pop-up events.

The brand's five pillars—5ex, 5timulation, 5ubmission, 5eduction, and 5atisfaction (notice how they swap the "s"s for fives?)—make it clear this isn't your typical gay cruise experience.

According to the founders, "RU5H is where sexual freedom and adventurous travel meet," offering men a chance to "play harder, let go of inhibitions, and live out (nearly) every fantasy."

The brand aims to bring the underground energy of the kink community into carefully curated travel experiences that combine uninhibited freedom with just the right amount of hospitality—because even leather daddies appreciate a good cocktail and comfortable accommodations.

Also, even though RU5H markets itself as "all-gay, all-male," the brand welcomes gay, bi, and pan men, as well as male-identifying adventurers ready to explore their desires on their own terms.

While we’re waiting for all the details on their first voyage, curious travelers can check out their website for a steamy preview video and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a complimentary trip.

Last Week’s Results: Last week, we asked have you ever been in an airport lounge?

  • 32% said “every time I travel”

  • 30% said “once or twice”

  • 38% said “never!”

The Verdict: 68% of us have rarely or never experienced an airport lounge—and honestly, that's a tragedy we're here to fix.

  • “At first I thought it was snobby—but then I experienced it. It’s how airports SHOULD be. The drinks alone more than make up for the price of admission.”

  • “We enjoy it and as we no longer smoke we spend zero time curbside.”

  • “I want to get into airport lounges before my final flight to the great beyond.”

Sure, 32% of you are lounge regulars (living your best life!), but the majority are still stuck at the gate drinking an overpriced cocktail while dealing with crying children.

Here's the thing: Airport lounges aren't just for business travelers with platinum status anymore. They're spaces where you can actually relax before a flight—comfortable seating, free food and drinks, reliable WiFi, and (crucially) clean bathrooms that don't have a 20-person line.

That's why we're thrilled to announce our new partnership with Priority Pass, giving GoQueer readers access to over 1,700 airport lounges worldwide. Because you deserve better than fighting for an outlet at the gate.

Your next gay getaway should start the moment you arrive at the airport—not when you finally land.

Ready to upgrade your travel experience? Check out our exclusive Priority Pass offer and start lounge-hopping on your next trip.
